We continuously have to move threads posted by webmasters in the wrong section, so to avoid more work and misunderstandings for everyone, I make this quick note.

The General Discussion folder is NOT a support folder for your own site or your own personal Information Board.
If you have informations for your members you need to post in the appropriate section.

We have many sections made especially to help webmasters :
- Industry announcement section : If you want to inform everyone about changes to your site, you can put your message up there (if you don't have PO status at GPF, contact a General Moderator or a Administrator who will put your message up)
- Server downtime sticky thread : You can post there anytime you have a downtime scheduled and it's the best place to inform members because if some ask about a site being down, it is the place where we check if webmaster has posted.
- Support folders : Every webmaster can have a support folder and it seems to be the best place to inform your members without having all non-members interfering like they do in General Discussion.
